The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands

Proper Care of Husbands

I just read a wonderful book called The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands, by Dr. Laura Schlessinger.  I’m sure many of you have listened to Dr. Laura on talk radio.  She’s straightforward and to the point and she doesn’t take anyone’s crap.  She really knows how to get to the bottom of the matter!

Anyway, I just read this book and it really opened my eyes!  Chris read it, too, and he said that Dr. Laura is right on the money.  She really understands men.  I, on the other hand, have always been pretty clueless.  It reminded me that my husband should be my #1, which for some reason hasn’t always been obvious to me since having kids.  :)  It inspired me to be a better wife, a better woman, and most importantly it has renewed my love for my husband and my desire to serve him and always let him know that he is my knight in shining armor.  I love him so much!

You certainly don’t have to be having marriage problems to be inspired by this book.  I think every woman should read it now and then to remind her how wonderful her husband is and to learn to be less self-centered.  It’s an enjoyable and easy read!  I recommend it to all of you. :)

I’m now going to read The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage, by Dr. Laura Schlessinger.  Who wouldn’t want to learn how to make their relationship with their husband and their marriage the best they could possibly be?  What a joyful life can be led when you are filled with so much love!

blaine and I read this one weekend together and laughed our heads off! So many things she says are dead on and it was definitely a good read. I’ll have to read the other one you’ve referenced!
