Independence Day!
We had a wonderful Independence Day! We went to our Stake Independence Day Celebration first thing in the morning and had a great breakfast. Maggie went “fishing” and did a bean bag toss and she loved winning prizes!
We then took off to the University of Utah Red Butte Gardens. It was sooo beautiful! The morning was perfect and cloudy so it wasn’t too hot, and the gardens were breathtaking. We probably walked around them for 2 1/2 hours enjoying the flowers, roses, trees, birds, ducks, and fish. There’s a children’s garden area with a fountain they can run through, tunnels of vines they can run around in, large statues, a sandbox, wooden hideouts, and more! Maggie absolutely loved it and I decided it would be an awesome place for a party or larger family outing. It was much like the zoo, but with plants instead of animals! Maggie loved feeding the ducks and goldfish at the pond. What a wonderful, refreshing morning!
In the evening we had a BBQ with Daniel & Alina. YUM!
We are so blessed to live in such a wonderful country with so many freedoms! We are grateful for all of the sacrifices made by our founding fathers to gain independence, and we are grateful for all who have fought and who do fight today to maintain our liberty. This land is so beautiful and so full of opportunity. God Bless America!

Glad you had a great day. We missed you at dad’s.
