Call Home (My Family Newsletter Submission)
It’s been a good month with finally perfect weather for walks outside! Well, up until this past week which is very cold and yes, snowy. I got called back into Young Women’s and am the Young Women’s Secretary in our ward. I’m very excited! It’s almost unfair how much I love this calling. Maggie had such a fun birthday and she and Robyn have been playing with her new toys, especially the kitchen and grocery cart, every day since. Robyn took one step two days ago! She stands up so much and loves to walk around holding my fingers. She has such a cute personality and loves to laugh and run around the house with Maggie. She got 4 new teeth this month and now has 6 teeth! Maggie got some new “Princess Pajamas” and watched an anime called “Princess Tutu” about a little ballerina and now she wants to wear her pajamas all day every day, and her tutu, and she dances around and says: “I’m a princess tutu!”
Chris is getting excited about cooking again and enjoys trying new recipes and blogging his creations. He’s pretty awesome. I’ve been doing a lot of cooking, too, and I’ve made meatballs from scratch, and even pumpkin swirl cheesecake! To name a few.
We’re quarantining Maggie again to protect her from the flu, especially the swine flu, because we’re so concerned about how weak her immune system is and of course her lungs. She hasn’t gotten sick since we stopped taking her to nursery a number of months ago. Anyway, no church, grocery stores, or ward parties for her. We will still visit with family as long as no one is sick.
We hope everyone is happy and staying healthy!

Cute pictures. Ah, I’m glad you enjoy your calling so much! That’s great. I wish we lived closer so we could hang out. You’ll have to share some of your creative ideas with me for what to do with Maggie and Robyn when you’re cooped up inside. Avie has croup right now, and I’m already running out of ideas, and we’ve only been home for four days so far. I don’t know what I’m going to do all winter long!
